Waterfall in Porphyry Basin, San Juan Mountains, Colorado

Dreamland
always a good day when you almost flip in your friends FJ of the side of a small shelf road, get stuck and have to wait countless hours for a tow to show up and barley pull the thing back from the edge of disaster. just another day in the life of a nature photog…..great light that night made it all seem worth it.

That looks awesome Joe! Did you get this shot before or after the FJ mishap? How far did you hike for this? Be careful and stay safe for everyone who cares about you.
Lovely light & image, Joe!
I think I have a new tagline for you – tell me what you think:

Omg, that is sooo exciting. I can imagine the rush you must have felt skirting disaster and defying death. Okay, maybe I’m being melodramatic, but that’s a hell of a lot more exciting than typing at this desk every day 😉
You have amazing photographs. Congratulations on your great work. Nature is something to be respected, revered and remembered. Photography does all of these for us. I consider Nature photography to be the greatest worship of all.
