Great Falls Private Workshop

by josephrossbachphoto

Well, we had another private workshop this past Saturday. We have doing a lot of private workshops in the past year with an average of 1 or 2 per month and some running as long as 2 weeks. It’s great to be one-on-one with a client because you know that they are getting your full attention and really learning a great deal. These private workshops run $400.00 per person per day and are intense. We go from first light to well after sunset with classroom lectures, camera instruction and software training during the middle of the day. Some clients have opted to skip classroom and just spend the entire length of the day shooting in various locations if the light is right. The beautiful thing is that its entirely up to the client how much shooting we do and how much time we spend in the classroom.

We offer private workshops at various locations in the Mid Atlantic. A few of the most popular locations include Great Falls National Park, Shenandoah National Park, Canaan Valley & Dolly Sods, Swallow Falls & Cransville Sub Arctic Swamp, Blackwater NWR, the Pocono Mountains and the Delaware Bay. Of course we can customize our private workshops to any location and in fact we lead a private one-on-one workshop in Colorado just this past summer for 14 days.

Here are a few images I managed to squeeze of yesterday. All of the images were examples I showed the client in each location. You know, this is what I am seeing and here is how I would go about capturing the image. We even had the chance to do all of our post processing right after the sunset shoot which was a great way of going right from capture to print while everything is still fresh in your mind.
