Prepping for Presentations

by josephrossbachphoto

Looks like this week is going to be all about prepping images and putting together presentations for a bunch of upcoming lectures. On October 1, I will be giving my “West Virginia Photo Hotspots” presentation to the Vienna Photographic Society in Virginia. Next weekend is the Claude Moore Park Photo Expo and I will be speaking on Abstract Photography. So it looks like I will be in the office all week working on getting these done.

On Saturday I have a Private Workshop in Virginia which will be nice because I’ll get out of the office for the day and be able to shoot in and around Great Falls Park. Sunday I am taking Phoenix out for the day to do some hiking. That should be fun.

I thought I would share a few images over the next couple of days from last years “West Virginia Highlands Autumn Workshop/Tour”. We will be heading back to the region for this years workshop on October 10-14 and it looks like its going to be a great display of color this fall. The temps have been mild all summer and there has been a good amount of rain all summer and so far this fall in the mountains.

This is from a great location in Blackwater Falls State Park. This waterfall is super photogenic and is often a great place to shoot swirling leaves below the falls. This is one of the most popular spots on the tour and we spend a good deal of time shooting in this park.

If anyone is interested in signing up, we still have a few spots available.
